This was an interesting week of strange news. Of course the huge solar eclipse and the anniversary of the moon landing were exciting enough but some military news was even better.
Thanks to Cindy Sheets for sending in this story posted by Fox News regarding a military robot that actually could fuel itself on biofuel. In the beginning of the week, it was reported that a freshly dead corpse could constitute the biomass this 21st Century beast required. Sure enough before we could blink the story was revised and the military clarified that the robot was "vegetarian" and only fueled itself from vegetation and the like. Conspiracy or cover up? Who knows but it was more exciting to think it was 'dead bodies", sounds right out of a Scott Sigler novel.
