Getting Gettysburg Ghosts

Less than 2 weeks away, me & gene are heading to America's most haunted town: Gettyburg, PA. On the night of Friday the 13th, we'll be part of a paranormal investigation with Mark Nesbitt [ex-park ranger, author of the "Ghosts of Gettysburg" series and owner of Ghosts of Gettysburg Walkign Tours]. If there are any ghosts in Gettysburg, he'll find them.

Saturday morning, we'll interview Mark for the show & go out to the battlefields to catch a few more ghosts. Legend says that 45% of Gettysburg sightings have occured during the day. It's not just a midnight thing.

Here's one of the more famous tales:

1970s: woman walks up to a park ranger and asks "There any ghosts in Gettysburg?" Ranger asks, "Why?" Turns out the woman was photographing the section known as the Devil's Den. She notices a man next to her who points behind here and says, "What you're looking for is over there." She turns, snaps a photo, turns back to the man and he's gone.

There's more to the tale ... but you'll just have to wait for the episode or buy Mark's book.
